Today's inspiration challenge was based on a shabby chic pinterest board where I was mainly inspired by this beautiful piece and the whole wonderful board. I had a piece of dp which featured a pair of scissors as did the inspiration piece, instead of handprinted letters I used sheet music. I used the Sanded bg stamp to imitate the distressed wood and the rest of it came from my general inspiration.
I used the Vintage wheel to stamp across my dp. I added spatter and some gold ink dotting as well as tearing, distressing and sponging on my dp as well. I diecut my larger circle and sponged it. I punched my music, crumpled and sponged it. I had a piece of Soft Suede stamped in Hardwood and used that to punch my butterfly adding some tiny pearls. I used a piece of gold mesh ribbon and a burlap string bow as accents.
I'm also playing along with the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges. I can't spill the beans, but this is for Susan/rainy's challenge. Hope you'll join along in the fun.

Wow, what an awesome design, Gail. I can't believe that is not a real pair of scissors. I love all your shabby elements- that open lace, distressed edges and elegant butterfly.
