I made this to send to a friend who is recovering from surgery. And I'm entering into the NBUS#1 Challenge on Darnell's blog to celebrate her reaching 500 followers.
I stenciled the background with distress ink and splattered with diluted wisteria wonder re-inker. I watercolored the flower and then cut it out and popped it up for added dimension.

Pretty color palette. Considering "splatter" implies lack of control as to where it lands, I cannot believe how perfect yours is -- it looks like you meticulously placed each little splat to get it in the perfect place. I just love it!!!

This may not be your usual CAS style but I LOVE LOVE LOVE that leaf and splattered background. ALso those two colors ROCK together. Your watercolored flower is just gorgeous and I am so impressed with the dimention you got in the center of your flower! I have gone back to look at it several times! Your leaf stencil is one of the best ones I have ever seen. VERY COOL! This FLEW into my fav's and onto my boards.... SO worth your effort...you need to pat yourself on the back with this one! :-)

This card makes me want to bring out my watercolors again! What an incredible background combined with your stencil and splatter! The fussy cutting of your beautifully colored blossom is gorgeous, Loll! Just gorgeous!
