I did this a little faster than what I would have liked and came up with some stuff I'm not sure I like. I guess that's okay. We should try stuff out of the ordinary. I have a bit of a distressed look while trying to keep a neat look.
I embossed the image in gold - watercolored it with the colors for today. I tore some paper, pierced and added a sent and a few brads.
Thanks so much for looking and commenting. :>)

Oh I love it! Love the torn edges and the elegance of the gold embossing! Your watercoloring is beautiful!

Kim, you did a lovely card with your watercoloring. Your CC cards are always exceptional. You also have such a knack with torn edges......giving just the right feeling.

I need to remember to tear some of my edges. Your bg water coloring is really pretty, kind of looks like a fog of red! Beautiful use of the dessert today!

I think this is terrific! The torn paper with the somewhat formal image is really interesting, and the watercolor is great, especially the gorgeous background!

I really like the contrast you achieved by using the clean cut edge on one corner of the card and the torn corner of the other. I love this pretty card.
