I have been wanting to try a few new things, and I thought this would not be too difficult. I learned from Lydia that there is a watercolor graphite pencil - you need to use it on watercolor paper. I really like what she created. I took a different approach, and am still playing with it.
I heat embossed my image with some pewter embossing powder and then I used my monolith pencil to draw - perhaps a type of shadow. I'm not sure. Just having fun and wanted to share this cool new medium to me.

Beautiful, and thanks for the information about the graphite pencils made for watercoloring. I may have to hunt one of those down.
