Wow, it's been a while since I've had time to play in a sketch challenge. I mirrored this one vertically to suit the direction the goose is facing in.
I usually rely on the sketch challenge to help me use up my DP - but somehow today I've gone totally CAS and not used even one scrap, except some blue card for the mat layer.
A2 base.
I used Magical Masking Tape technique for the three strips, and stamped the grass over them in Smokey Grey.
Goose stamped, masked, and the background sponged in; then I added some colour with pencils.
Reverse masked the banner at the top and sponged it in with Old Paper, then stamped the sentiment. Image panel popped up on foam dots. This will do for my BIL's birthday next week.

Awesome interpretation of today's sketch - love the way you cleaned up the clunky background detail with swipes of color. Also admire the use of the stamped banner/sentiment, it keeps it in the background and doesn't take the eye away from the goose focal point. Lovely CAS creation. TFS!
