My son and I made this card together. He saw a commercial with little kids that have cancer and it made him sad. I told him he knows a little girl with cancer. He was surprised and asked who. Well, it is a little girl we go to church with. I know he has known she was sick because he's heard announcements and people talk. Being a ten yr. old little boy though, sometimes things just don't sink in. So, I told him he could make her a card it he wanted to. He did. He picked out what the card should be made of and gave me pointers on how to put it together. He went and got a dollar out of his bank and said he wanted to give it to her. He said it's not much, but every little bit helps. He was very tired (it was pretty late), but he stayed right with me while I put his card together, and then he stamped praying hands on the inside and wrote I am praying for you. He also made a note that he hoped she liked the dollar and she could use it any way she wants. I think I am pretty lucky to have such a sweet, caring little boy.
Thanks for taking time too look and read.

Oh thank you for sharing how you and your sweet son made this for a special little girl. You are blessed to have such a young caring son. A beautiful card and such a thoughtful gesture. This will put a smile on that little girl's face :-)
