Linda asked us to use book pages or sheet music to stamp on today. I have another card in mind, but have a Christmas Open House coming up at the shop where I have my card rack so I'm trying to get some more things made for that. I never had a chance to try Dina's chipboard ornaments from last week's mixability challenge. She has a for them. I hope to get some step by step photos up on my blog, but I'm pressed for time!
I have some scrap lightweight chipboard left over from some packing and I also punched some box board. I punched the music dp as well and used Modpodge to layer them and sandwiched my raffia hangars in between. I used clothespins to hold the layers tightly together as they dried. I added a light coat of Gesso over the dp and also used my finger to coat the edges of the ornaments. I used markers to ink up my images and stamped onto the prepared ornaments. I colored with markers as well and then used my Gelly Roll pen to add glitter highlights. I sponged the edges with Tempting Turquoise and added some glitter there too. These end up looking like painted wood ornaments to me, but they're really lightweight.

Like the traditional look of your ornaments. The sheet music is perfect for the bg. Good luck selling your beautiful creations. Thanks for playing in the challenge.

Beautiful, Gail! I hope you get several made because I think they'll sell like hot cakes!
