The next "Hope You Can Cling To" challenge asked us to try mixed media. Yikes! This was new for me.
I stamped the large snowflakes with Versamark and then embossed them with silver embossing powder. On top of that I sponged some white shimmer paint. I stamped some smaller flakes with Versamark again and sprinkled on white embossing powder. Problem was, it stuck to the paint too. When I looked closer I decided I liked the effect.
So here it is. My first official mixed media attempt. Thanks for pushing me to try something new.

Oh - I'm sure practically all of us have done mixed media before even if we didn't know to call it that . But for your first deliberate attempt at it - this is beautiful. The unexpected added white EP is a fabulous effect - it's the sort of thing I try (and fail) to get with a stiff brush.

You created a really lovely, snowy, swirly scene. And for not knowing what you were doing with mixed media? You did GREAT!! Pretty effect and great card! Thanks for taking the challenge and playing along.
