This is Misti's challenge for HYCCT to choose one of the ribbon colours for cancer or a number if you know people fighting the battle of other cancers.
I've chosen rainbow as if you couldn't tell, the reason, I have three aunts who have died of breast cancer.
One survived for ten years and we were all excited that she had made that milestone and then it was discovered she had spots in her spine that were inoperable a month later. She passed away a year later from pancreatic cancer.
I also had two uncles and a cousin who have passed away from bowl / colon cancer and a cousin who is constantly having polyps removed. All on my mothers side of the family.
The black well that's me I've had two melanomas removed from my back and one from just under the collar bone, all stage one. I've become very good friends with my dermatologist.
The card was very simple, just a matter of finding the rainbow paper (that took a while), stamping the rainbow and cutting it out. I went round it with my black copic so the edge didn't look so raw, putting all the layers together, colouring the rainbow and then gluing it in position.
I cut out the cloud with my memory box die did some copic shading around the edges and mounted it onto the card with some dimensional's.
Thank you Misti for a great challenge I would never of known half the ribbon colours very interesting and thank you everyone for looking.
Cheers
