From one Jean to another Jeanne, here is the card I chose: Comfort Food by akeptlife at Splitcoaststampers
I was creating with my artist friend on Thursday and I tried embossing a piece of silver screening. I was quite delighted with how it looked and thought, 'today's WT challenge is to use metal. How fortuitous.' That challenge never happened for me until today. I used Jeanne's wonderful card as inspiration. I kept her basic layout, thinking that my lacy screen looked a bit like her cross piece, and I also included a little tag and some dp. I don't use dp that much anymore but I have lots and still love to look through it, so I'm happy I could use some. I had the alcohol ink piece in my 'yet to be determined' stash so I used that for my bird and the square behind it (also happy to use a piece from that stash). I'm not entirely certain that the background behind the bird is Inkadinkado, I'm bad at keeping the packaging from clear stamps.
I don't believe that I've seen a gallery as colorful and joyful as Jeanne's. I hope to be back later with another card as I found much to inspire. If not, see you next time.

The embossed mesh looks wonderful and is a really creative and clever take on the WT challenge . That little inchie bird and the paper it's layered on are both fab! I love birds...
