Today the Teapotters are making cards for Karin, the cousin of Renee (momof3boys.) Karin went into the hospital for a procedure and developed complications before they could do it. She developed other complications as well and is in very serious condition. A sad, unexpected situation. My thoughts and prayers are for them.
My quilt is called Bright Hope, a design by Janet Wickell. You can read more about it here:
I pieced the pattern w/SU papers onto a piece of SU cardstock. I machine-stitched all of the seams. I mounted it on a night of navy panel and adhered w/SU dimensionals to my bashful blue card base. Added a gold, glitter heart in the center. Cut two PS banners, one white for sentiment, one n of n for "shadow effect (I like the way that looks.) Stamped the banner frame in midnight muse and trimmed it close to the lines. Stamped the PS sentiment in pacific point. Adhered so the n of n banner showed. Adhered sentiment w/SU dimensionals. A message and more PS religious sentiment is inside.
THANKS for looking!
Stamps: PS
Paper: SU cardstock + dp, Reflections (white), the gold glitter paper is from a friend who is a SU demo-I think it's SU
Ink: SU
Accessories: PS die, sewing machine, Scor-Tape, SU dimensionals

This is a fabulous card. I love the quilt look...reminds me of the quilts my grandma used to make. Nothing hugs someone quite like a quilt OR a prayer! Nicely done.
