I combined today's Teapot Tuesday and colour challenges in this card.
MMTPT250: Make cards with elements of food, wine or hospitality. If we choose to, we can send our cards to Marie, who has many health complications which started with a cold.
CC426: Certainly Celery, Bermuda Bay and Regal Rose
In many cultures, serving a cup of tea is the way to welcome someone who has stepped into your home - an initial show of hospitality. Of course, food and drinks will follow.
I don't have Bermuda Bay cardstock or ink, so I used the blue green lilies dp from Far East stack (DCWV). The pink panel, representing Regal Rose, is mulberry paper, containing bits of gold fibre. I wanted more gold, so I drew some squiggles with a Versamark pen and embossed with gold. Oops! Gold embossing gone wild. I used it anyway because the crazy effect balances out the the very rigid and strict gold teapot panel. It is very nice that I could use a teapot image for Teapot Tuesday : )

Becky this is absolutely GORGEOUS!! This image in gold on black is simply stunning - and I think your BG gold balances the image perfectly. I love when the two Tuesday challenges are combined and you did a wonderful job! Thanks so much for coming to Marie's Teaparty - Big Hugz from NJ. Have some of those cookies too...they turned out especially well this week!

I agree - the looseness of your gold embossing is a perfect counterpoint for the crisp tea pot image.
Love the way you got the colors included in unusual ways.
Lovely card!
