My son worked by first rubbing and pouncing the yellow onto the card with scrunched up plastic wrap, stamping the word stamps in dark brown, then edging the card panels. Text includes: Committment, Discipline, Teamwork, Preparation, Inspiration, Character, and Friend!
The inside reads: If you believe in yourself and have the courage, the determination, the dedication, the competitive drive, and if you are willing to sacrifice the little things in life and pay the price for the things that are worthwhile, it can be done. - vince lombardi THANK YOU
These cards are being given to family members who ordered first aid kits through my son's cub scouts fundraiser.

Courtesy counts, and this is a wonderful way to teach your son that trait. Hope you don't mind if I semi-case for our 3 new Eagle Scouts congrats cards (I'll use Scout Law words). Thanks for sharing.
------------------------------ Sharon Today is a new day. Make the most of it ~ My meager beginning!
Oh, by all means go for it! I don't have stamps yet that are Boy Scout specific but these words all seemed like wonderful traits for any scout! He did get a little overzealous pouncing the plastic wrap and knocked my new ink pad off the table once... but then he's only 8 so your boys should be able to control that urge!
We do feel bad because the fundraiser didn't earn enough money and now we have some $1 candy bars to sell but they are cash and carry so no chance to do a proper thank you card for them all.. however his best friend's family had all 5 members buy 2 each so we are surely giving them a thank you card! (We made one extra!)
I know what you mean... there are so many things I wish I'd had the inspiration for before the kids were born or when they were babies... I just try to keep offering them new ideas to build upon and search for ways to help them give back.... cause boy do they take hehe
