When I first saw this sentiment, I wasn't sure if I liked it or not. I mean, if your dreams are the wrong direction for your life, you shouldn't go anywhere near them!
Then I decided I was overthinking it. The point is that you need to set your goal and charge onward. If God directs you in another direction, change course then, but you have to have something to reach toward... why not your dreams!
So, once I got over myself, I just played with this sketch. Let's just say it out loud. This is boring. But it works for boring. Sometimes you just need a simple card for someone you really don't know. You don't want to put amazing amounts of effort into it, but it's still better than a run-of-the-mill things from the card aisle at the store.
To give it extra punch to appease the guilt god, I added a stamped diploma to the envelope.

Difficulty (1-Easy 5-Advanced): 1- easy. The only think that keeps it from a zero becuase it's so blasted easy is that I did the double cut thing on the side. That gets a mini bit tricky if you don't watch where you're taking that cutter.

I love the out-of-the-box technique. One of my favorites. Love your card and always love your stories that you write with your cards!
