This took a lot of time, but detailing it
was fun. I took the idea from Kittie747
to use the crimper on the grass and started
from there. I used Martha Stewart grass
border punch on the lower row, and my
sewing pinking shears (bad me) on the other
two rows because I don't have any fancy
cutting scissors. I cut the top portion
of the tree out in green in order to add
the leaves. The flowers at the base of
the tree are cut from Memory Box Flower
Mound, and the tiny leaves are Leaf Motif.
I added pale yellow behind the windows of
the house and I cut out the window portion
in white to make the shutters, and added
what I hope look like stairs leading from
the house. A few butterflies and some clouds
and the lamp post complete the scene.
Dies used: Grand Oak Tree, Country House,
Leaf Motif, Flower Mound, Puffy Clouds,
Butterfly Delights from Memory Box,
and Antique Lamp Post from Poppy Dies.
