When I first started this card it was going to be for the MIX7 splatter challenge. I got out yellow and turquoise glimmer mists and sprayed white cs. I don't use these much because they ALWAYS SPLATTER, and that's not generally the look I'm after.
The Inkadinkado Sing Like No Other image was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black and colored with watercolor pencils and Distress markers. I fussy-cut around the sunflower when trimming the image and adhered it with foam tape to a yellow layer embossed with a TH music ef (I borrowed it and don't know the exact name). I sponged this layer with Antique Linen and Wild Honey Distress inks. I embossed the blue layer with the same ef, sanded it lighly and sponged with Antique Linen. I wrapped it with rough twine and put some knots in. Obviously I'm no sailor (or Boy Scout!), but hey, they're knots!
I LOVE the way this turned out!
As always, thanks for looking!

I love how this turned out too!! The musical backgrounds are fabulous, and the out-of-the-box cutting of the image adds so much dimension. Your knots look pretty knotty to me ;-), just what was called for.

This is absolutely beautiful! Those colors are so rich and love all the texture from the embossing! Your coloring is fabulous and the twine is a perfect touch! This is extraordinary and into my favorites it goes!
