This VSN challenge is to use hexagons with extra credit for adding a bee like the ones Brenda's dad used to keep. I found this little set of bare rubber stamps at a flea market...have to run back down in a minute to see if there was a name on the set. I haven't jumped onto the hexagon bandwagon yet, so I had to stretch my brain a bit on this one. I remembered seeing a tutorial a while ago on coloring foam squares with PearlEx powder and since SU's dimensionals are hexagons I put them to work with a little gold powder. I punched a large circle in Black then embossed my tiny bees on Whisper White in Onyx with black ep. I colored with markers and punched them out. I stamped my sentiment in Onyx and added my gingham bow.

Very clever and resourceful, Gail. I'm not on the hexagon bandwagon yet (missed the octagon one too!), and while I can draw them exactly with my compass, I fail miserably on the cutting out. So I think it was very smart of you to use the dimensionals.
I was thinking of you the other day - we had such high winds here that the visitor centre at the Cliffs of Moher was closed!
