I wanted to CASE a card from this week's Featured Stamper Bonnie aka bon2stamp's awesome gallery. I also decided to play along in today's technique challenge to use a large scale stamp with a small one. I started from this beautiful card of Bonnies. I decided to reverse the color scheme of Not Quite Navy and Whisper White so I stamped my main flower in white on the NQN cs. I stamped my sentiment in NQN and sponged the edges. Instead of dp I decided to use a smaller scale floral stamp and used the same white on navy scheme. Instead of punching the scallop trim border, I used a piece of white die cut with the Tasteful Trims die. In keeping with the large scale/small scale I embellished with some pearls. I mistakenly cut my back blue layer too small, but liked the corner effect when I popped the image panel over it.

I like the color arrangement on both your card and Bonnie's. Oh, I almost missed the big pearl/small pearls. It pays to read the description! This would be a good card for a guy or a gal - or a couple.

I like the smaller layer under the flower panel too. Gives it a certain panache. This card is a beauty........I love the look of white against any dark color. Hope you are enjoying the cards cased from your gallery, Gail.

I was so excited to see that you are the inspiration for the CAS challenge this week,, Gail. I've been itching to get to my craft room all day! This card is so pretty! I love the white on navy and it was one of my favorite stamps last year. I hated that it was only "legal" for a month. Thanks so much for honoring me today!
