Congratulations - again - to Roberta also known as stampin nana. My birthday is June 20 and Roberta was queen on June 21st. I am very excited to be able to do this because Roberta, you are one of the many that I missed. I looked through your gallery and found MANY cards I would love to case. I did finally pick this one as I wanted to use my newest flower.
The colors are way off as my camera is not cooperating. It's much deeper and richer, but I still love it and I hope you do too.
I ran the BG through an embossing folder and embossed it with tarnished gold. Also the Nestie oval. I stamped the alternating leaves and petals eith All Night Media music and Hero Arts Old French Writing - two of my favorite standbys. Glued them on, curled them and attached a button with a Zot.
Enjoy another week of royalty!

Oh, I am SO very glad you were able to play this time, Carol! I see lots of similarities on your beautiful card! Didn't you like embossing around the oval? It really brings out that beautiful flower, and with all those notes, I can hear so many different Christmas songs in my head right now! The colors you used are gorgeous and so is that button; such a pretty vintage looking card! Thanks so much for playing along this week, Carol~

Carol, this is gorgeous. I love the stamping on your flower and leaves. And I don't know what the colors look like irl, but this is (as said before) GORGEOUS!
