I had browsed through this week's Featured Stamper thecircleguru/Allison's gallery and saw this cool Patchwork Poinsettia card and thought the flower would work well in a setting using today's technique challenge of glittery embossing.
I started with my background piece so the stickles would have time to dry. I cut my Cherry Cobbler piece then embossed it in the CB Rebecca ef. I then got the Stardust Stickles onto my brayer following the directions and carefully brayered the stickles onto the raised areas of the embossed frame. While this was drying I die cut my patchwork petals and also punched some sticky sheet circle to adhere my petals too. I sponged the petals and curled the edges a bit after adhering. I punched a 1/2" circle center and added some silver half pearls. I stamped my sentiment onto River Rock (also the cs for my base) and used the word window punch. I layered this over an Always Artichoke modern label punched piece and sponged the edges. I added a silver cord double bow before adhering my sentiment and then layered a wooden button over that. Of course the card is more sparkly IRL, but I finally got a picture where you could at least see the sparkle a bit!
