I saw a card Sue (bensarmom) made the day before it was announced that she was the Queen for the Day. She used the acrylic block stamped background technique, and I loved it and wanted to give it a try. When I found out Sue was chosen as QFTD124, I knew right away which card I would choose. Her card can be found here.
The background wasn't as easy as it looked, and I must have made 8-10 samples before being happy with the results. I made two cards in Sue's honor based on the same card.
Congratulations, Sue, and thanks for the inspiration.

Lorie, Your card is just gorgeous! I love your choice of colors. I also like the paper piercing around your greeting. Thank you for helping me celebrate!
