This is for 2 challenges. The one is for the twisted sisters...which is to use warm summer colors , with 2 die-cuts and..... some bling...garsh darn girls...thats going to be a tough one for me...LOL. thanks for a good challenge. When I think of warm summer colors the first thing I think of is the summer sunsets, and when I went through Bev's beautiful gallery I saw this one card...Because! * FS201 by TexasGrammy at Splitcoaststampers which I thought was so pretty....Bev Is our queen of the week. come and join us in these challenges you are so welcome...:0)
I sponged the bg with a cut out little circle on the paper, added the different silhouette, the top sentiment I decided to sponge its edges to match a bit and cut a die-cut in half to make a neat little folder style. I have only done it a couple times so wanted to re-try that sponged embossing where you sponge your folder then run it through. Was going to leave it white but thought would add a touch of color..and of course the best part...added some black bling in the corners with black blingy ribbon..yah...:0).
My neighbor sad as divorces are, is just tommorrow is finalized and her home she paid it out to the ex and now its all hers. She was so happy yesterday talking to her about getting it all finalized and even tho she has been there years I wanted to send her a little card to share in her joy of a new start in her life. Inside I put the verse about with the faith of a mustard seed all things are possible...:0)
thanks for visiting

Your sponging is so pretty and makes your gorgeous flowers pop out in such a beautiful way. I'm sure this will be very much enjoyed by your neighbor.

No... the Twisted Ones made you go and use bling? Lawdy! What next? Lil Sistah, this is a beautiful case, and so very thoughtful too. Lymi, hugs....

This is beautiful, I love the sunset and that definitely spells out summer color. Your neighbor will love this card. You were so thoughtful to think of sending it to her.

".. MADE you use some bling...garsh darn girls...thats going to be a tough one for me...LOL." Oh my goodness, Wendy, you had me rolling on the floor, laughing my butt off with that line - you NEVER have a problem with bling!
This card is incredible, Sister! Like a breath of fresh air - the sponging on your embossing folder came out beautiful, and I love your scalloped edge, ribbon, and BLING! Your cards are really more and more beautiful each week! So sweet of you to wish your neighbor well at this tough time in her life - I am sure she appreciates your thoughtfulness!
