Tater gave us a challenge to alter something this week - anything - but NO PINK!!
I had gotten this box months ago, and decided the faux patina technique would be easy to do on the raised design on the sides. Since the top did not have any embossing, I did the faux patina but covered most of it with flowers, and die cut leaves. I struggle with flowers, so this was a stretch for me - thanks, Tater!!
If you want to join the Twisted Sistahs this week, ALTER something and put TSC0420 in your keywords - we would love to have you play along!!
Thanks for looking!

Wow! This turned out amazing! You seem to have won your struggle with flowers..they are nicely arranged and the leaf placement is perfect. Into my faves for sure.

Lawdy Greenie! This bloomin' gawgus <--(got that from that Sweet Tater in Tx). What a beautiful, vintage project! I love the arrangement on top and the delish patina. Good, good job! LYMI

Wow for someone who struggles with flowers I would say you overcame that obstacle with this gorgeous box! The faux patina turned out really pretty. Love it Sistah. You rocked this challenge.

Greenie,
Your project is so gorgeous - it reminds me of a vintage box my Grandma had on her dressing table (although it didn't have flowers on top) - but it was beautiful - as is your project. Thanks for the memory!
