I never have really understood why SU! made this guy's head so small and "faceless"! LOL
Anyway, this is my card for today's Featured Stamper's challenge. Bridget is our hostess and picked a great honoree, Shellie (shellied). Shellie's gallery is wonderful. I was inspired by this card: SC172 Rainbow Trout by shellied at Splitcoaststampers
I decided to go with the fishing and birthday themes in her card.
This card also goes with this month's Dueling Darling challenge (blog group here on SCS). Terry was our Dazzling hostess and sent a great kit. Thanks Sweetie!
I colored my images with Copics and Watercolor Pencils. I masked the sun with so saffron and crumb cake inks. the clouds/sky are made with bashful blue ink and a sponge dauber, with accents of white made with a gel pen.
Ink: Bashful Blue, Basic Black, Crumb Cake, So Saffron
Accessories: metal bling - Colorbox, metal accent - Paper Studios, thread - Peaches and Cream, copics, watercolor pencils, white gel pen, sponge dauber, basic black marker

Oh Melina...Who's da Woman who makes Da MAN card? Lol! I love this! (Yeah, and why is his head so "widdo"?) I love this set and your wonderful case. Your bg scene is delish, in a very MANLY way!

Wow! He caught a big one! I guess the face is missing so the recipient can picture his face there and think that is him catching 'the big one'. Ha
Super card, Melina!!

Wonderful fishing card! You've improved on my initial card. That made me laugh about the fisherman's head being too small. I appreciate your honoring me this week with a great card. Thank you.
