I immediately knew who the featured stamper was; I could even picture her photo with her sweet pups. I love her name (Kim Hahn; isn't that a nice strong name?) and her gallery is wonderful. Yes she loves flowers but more obviously, she loves nature and so do I, particularly birds and trees. We all need something new to play with and I decided yesterday to go to my favorite art store. I bought the tree stencil and the new for 2012 HA bird. I sponged, using the stencil, with the linen and pine distress inks onto the dp and then stamped the bird over that. It's all about script today! I used more embellishments and placed them differently than Kim did and I placed the sentiment on one of the panels. Size and shape of the card is different but I think I kept the spirit of her creation and the general layout. I so enjoyed looking at your gallery, Kim, it was hard to chose.
PS: oops, forgot to include Kim's card: QFTD95, Jadekay - Judy... by Luv Flowers at Splitcoaststampers

You definitely did keep the spirit of my card!! Your card is beautiful - I think it captures that wonderful nature feeling. Your ink colors are awesome, and even sound so with their names. Thank you so much for your kind words. And yes, I would say nature is my favorite thing, and definitely the way God speaks to me. You have blessed me today. Thank you!! Hugs, Kim :>)
