The creative crew holiday focus challenge was to make a project using hearts in a new way to you. I've seen these woven heart pouches since I was a kid in the 50s. I remember receiving one when I was a kid and never being able to figure it out. Back then I think it was called a Swedish decoration. Then when I was in my 20s I saw it again and still didn't learn how to make it. Now that I'm in my 60s, I'm finally getting to make one and just loved the weaving. The tutorial that I used was by Helen at: http://helenmade.blogspot.com/2010/0...ami-heart.html
Thank you, Helen, for writing a tutorial that I could follow and fulfill a longtime dream of mine to make one of these hearts.
Thanks for looking.

Have made many of these hearts over the years. I also make them in fabric....iron on a stiffner before cutting and it works much better. Thanks for reminding me how fun this little folding project can be !
