I decided to make a card for the Winder CAS Design Team Challenge. I actually made 6 and then picked my favorite. This one was my favorite, but then I found out they were not looking for twine or lace so I had to take this out of the challenge. This was so fun, but after making 6 cards none of which had real ribbon on them, I don't think I am going to make another! The first challenge is to make a card inspired by Christmas packaging - ribbons and designer paper are required.
I actually use feathers when I wrap presents (the key word is WHEN I wrap presents - aren't gift bags one of the great time-saving inventions of the last few centuries?). So I used it, some velvety Paris Nights dp, the awesome SU! Ornament Punch, and silver cord mixed with some lacy seam binding.
If you are interested in entering, the close date for challenge one is not until tomorrow and here is the link:

Thud...Sistah, altho I feel for the schicken that gave it up for this beauty, I am in awe of your skills. Simple elegance, squared. LYMIMIMIMI

Oh Nancy this is sooooo gorgeous. I wish that this could have counted...you would be a super DT member. The simple beauty of revelation in that scripture doesn't need a lot beside it, but your gorgeous ornament is just perfect. Thanks for sharing your amazing talent with us. Hugz!
