I didn't have to look far in Lisa's gallery to see something that inspired me today (tho, of course, I looked thru her whole lovely gallery): Embossed Acetate by llwright at Splitcoaststampers. I was drawn to the distressed, molten background with just some simple embossing and simple stamping. Katie (pbvkt) had sent me a very helpful Tim Holtz video on using distressed inks and, tho I don't have any (yet), I played with the technique.
Changed the colors, embossed the background card stock and changed the image. Purple is my friend Carol's favorite color in all the world and she will like this card, I hope. It's kind of dark, but we are both Capricorns and are drawn to wintery colors! (:>
