Another card for sister like an earlier one I posted, but in a different color scheme and with a different message on the inside.
CARD (5.5" tall x 4.25" wide)
Front Image: Two girls / sisters with arms around each others shoulders
Front Sentiment: "Sister"
Inside Sentiment: "A better Sister I could never find!”
I created the base card from apple green cardstock and scored it at the top so that my sister card opens from the bottom. I layered the top panel with light peach cardstock and followed that with a darker peach cardstock and a printed floral paper reflecting my color scheme.
For the focal point of the card I stamped an image of two sisters / girls with arms around each others shoulders on white cardstock and colored it using colored pencils and gamsol. As a finishing touch I cut the image panel into a unique shape and matted it on apple green cardstock.
To enhance the front panel I added a white grosgrain ribbon and topped it off with the word “sister” that I punched from apple green cardstock. I also created a sassy multi-layered hydrangea blossom using the apple green and dark peach cardstocks along with the patterned floral paper.
For the inside of the card I printed my sister message "A better Sister I could never find!” on white cardstock. I embellished this panel with a strip of the patterned floral paper matted with light peach cardstock.
I also handmade the envelope from heavy white cover stock and affixed a band of the patterned floral paper along the left edge to compliment the sister greeting card.
