This isn't really the type of card you expect to see in this lovely wedding song gallery. A bit of explanation is required. When my DH and I got married, it was a small affair on the frugal side. A good friend manned the CD player and was instructed which song to play off of a disc at the beginning and at the end of our wedding. After the ceremony concluded and everyone was teary eyed, she hit the wrong button and instead of the sentimental tune we had selected, "The Great Adventure" by Steven Curtis Chapman started playing instead, which begins with a loud "Saddle Up Your Horses!!" at the start. That became the unofficial theme for our marriage and we certainly have had a number of great adventures. So here is my saddle up wedding song card for the VSN challenge.

HA! that is awesome (although I'm sure you weren't thinking of it at the time huh?) I love it!! I had a very similar wedding. in DH's grandparent's garden with grandfather officiating. 5 in attendance and BIL manned the CD player and took pictures for us!

This is such a cool card and I love the story behind it! I love the etched leather look of the background paper and the lovely image as well as the lace!

LOL! What a fun story and a great card to commemorate it! And now that song is running through my head. ;)
