This card was done for the Operation Write Home Cards for Kids challenge, for which we are to make cards for soldiers to send home to their kids, with or without a special occasion. I made several and can't really pick a favorite or decide which to sent to the challenge. This one is a bit different than my normal CAS cards for Operation Write Home. Nana Mouse (as I call her) is a machine embroidered 'applique'. She's mounted with super-sticky, double sided tape onto a scalloped oval cut with a Spellbinders' die. The lace ribbon and flowers are from my stash. She makes a great image for any occasion (or non-occasion), and I can't imagine any daughter not falling instantly in love with her!
