The ODBD challenge this week was to make anything but a card. I've never tried these mini pizza boxes before and had fun making this one. Not sure yet what will go in it. Playing the flute on Sunday has made my cough worse than it ever was, so I am doing good to get the box made without thinking about contents. Maybe some note cards for a friend...
Mini pizza box tutorial is in Resources.
I used Bazzill for the base and Basic Grey Eva papers, and Sing to the Lord.
Inside the lid is a sentiment stamped on some of the Eva paper.
Box edges were decorated with punched strips of paper with small (5/8") circles of matching paper scored down the centre to neaten the two front corners, and then narrow satin ribbon.
Image was stamped on watercolour paper with Versafine Black. Then I masked it and stamped an Impression Obsession music stamp with Encore Gold and embossed with gold. I coloured the image with H2Os, and then used a mop brush to wet the background which I then washed with watercolours. I layered up some extra cornus blossoms.
