The challenge today at Sassy Cheryl's challenge Blog is make a Birthday card.
I have chosen this sweet little "March Winds" image from the Sassy Cheryl's Store
Cheryl has new images released every tuesday to inspire us. Take a minute and stop over and browse through the store.. your sure to find the perfect image for your that certain project you have in mind.
My coloring is gamsol/prisma pencils. the flowers are torn paper circles distressed just a touch with adirondack mushroom. the flower centers are made with glossy black cardstock dotted with white acrylic paint. I call these my faux polka dot brads.

Judy you always amaze me with the different ways you come up with to create your precious scenes. Those flowers are such a touch of creative whimsy. LOVE the faux effect. I'm loving your wonderful fence opening onto your carefree little "March Winds" image. And, I cannot leave this space without stating the obvious which is your truly wonderful grasp of color and coloring.

Oh, I {heart} this! Makes me feel I'm right there with her running along and flying a kite. Amazing coloring, wonderful fence, great shabby chic flowers--lovely, all of it!
