I made this 8 1/2x11 scrapbook page for the Artisan Award contest that Stampin' Up holds annually. I didnt win, but I worked very hard on my entries (5 cards, 3 scrapbook pages, 2 3-D projects) so I wanted to share them nonetheless.
This scrapbook page is a vintage style page and it is a picture of my Mom when she was about 12 years old. She is 74 now. I always loved this picture of her and it means alot to her. She had never had her picture taken professionally before because her family couldnt afford it, and her Aunt E and Uncle Cap bought her a new dress and shoes and took her to get her picture taken.
I used the Messages for Mom stamp set and the Vintage Vogue stamp set on the project.
The colors are old olive, pale plum, perfect plum and so saffron.
I used elements from the pretties kit, such as the hat pin, beads, and pearls. I also used the old olive/white striped ribbon and old olive satin ribbon along with rhinestones and beads duo.

Very pretty. I love the fact that you balanced the flowers on both sides of the photograph. Lovely colors, too. Thanks for sharing your inspirational creation.

Stunning Kelly! I love all the detailed cutting of those flowers, and the many different elements I see the more I look at it. This is a page that was made with lots of love, for sure!
