I had so much fun playing with my new PTI Blooming Button Bits set (Mother's Day gift from my sweet hubby!!) for my color challenge card yesterday, I had to keep playing today! I made this and two others like it (in different colors with different images) to make a note card set. This set will be an end-of-year gift for my first grade son's teacher.
I was inspired to try this pleated ribbon treatment by a cool card I saw on Dawn McVey's blog today!
The sketch is from this week's Repeat Impressions Sketch Challenge, M510.
Thanks for looking!!

What another beauty Emzi. I have to make a card with button embellishments so this is getting me excited about pulling out my stash and playing. Simply superb.

I love purple! The soft suede looks good with the purples, too. That sweet little sentiment is just perfect in the corner, and yes, your button collection must truly be large-ish...you seem to have many colors of the rainbow!
