I made this card for Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply color challenge (ssnotime135) using purples, lavender, browns, and ivory. I thought this would be fun to try out. This is my first challenge on Sharon's website who is one of my favorite designers and has some beautiful things on her website.
I had this image laying around waiting to be colored and decided to try using my prismacolor pencils without the mineral spirits - very scary. I only blended with the pencils themselves, the colorless blender and my eraser. I definitely have a lot to learn! The process was way too hard for me where bearing down hurts my hands and arms. It could be just me though not doing things right! I'lll have to check that out some more!
I got the card sketch for this out of a new book I just bought called "A Card a Day" by Paper Crafts Magazine. The card was done by Ashley C. Newell and can be found on page 106.
