Another week, another challenge, certainly helps to keep my brain busy. This card is for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge: http://priscillastyles.blogspot.com/
I've called it a "A Touch of Pink". The DP is florists crumpled paper with Burgundy ink distressing across it. Flower on stem is also from a florist tissue paper, glued on card, cut out and further coloured with wet chalks applied with brush, to achieve a watercolour effect, silver pen definition and glitz on petals, with small white pearls added, then popped on half dimesionals.
Small cream glitter diamond shapes have been Burgundy shaded with the addition of RAK flourish and Antique corner with lace flower and white pearls. Negative cutouts from corners have been placed on top corners with small pearls, and the word "cherish" also RAK, shaded and put on Burgundy tab, again with small pearls.
Border is cream lace topped with green ribbon and Burgundy antique corner and flourish with pearls. White topstitching edges card which is on shaded green CS.
I wanted to try a different form of mixing recycling with embellishments as part of my experimenting with textures, images, shapes and colours. It was fun to do.
Thanks for all your encouraging comments and for checking my card progress???? as I go along. Always good to hear from you.
