So this week, Lorraine aka pidgesmom has us doing a cookie walk for Mother Mark's teapot party challenge MMTPT72 - and Julia has us cooking up a challenge and creating something while incorporating a favorite recipe WT249.
Shhhhh! Don't tell anyone, but I don't cook. Seriously - my friends will confirm this! My husband does all the cooking - even when we have dinner parties. My mother was a fabulous baker, and I married into an Italian family, so never had to worry about having baked goods around! BUT I can bake if I decide to - I just don't do cookies. Darling daughter does those!
So -- what am I bringing to the tea party - a STRAWBERRY TUNNEL CAKE! Oh yes, I can and do make this one - YUMMY! It's an Eagle Brand Milk recipe, so you KNOW it has to be good! The recipe can be found here http://www.eaglebrand.ca/recipes-details.aspx?rid=1722 and I'm going to print it out and attach it to the back of my tag! Whew that was a long one!
Digi image coloured with copics and mounted on half of a Spellbinders label. Stamped and embossed Yummy sentiment and trimmed edges. Added some dp, organza ribbon and gold cording to finish it off!

Oh what a treat for the eyes and the tummy! I am drawn to your color combo - love the blues and purples for this time of year. Such a cute image. And that strawberry tunnel cake sounds absolutely delicious. It'll be a real treat for all the cookie bakers. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
So glad you could be part of the Cookie Walk Tea Party this week!

What gorgeous rich colours and great layout. Three of DH's brothers do all or most of the cooking in their families - the other one isn't much better than DH. His reckoning is why marry a cook and cook yourself - but he's great at doing all the dishes.
And he loves sweet treats - this will go on my to-do list. Mind you, we don't get angel cakes in the shops here, I'll have to start by making one of those.
