I started out with Asian and different inspiration, but that ended up a disaster, so then I attempted to use an image from Stamp Muse's swap bag. Little did I realize snowmen arent supposed to be colored green. Tossed that one and ended up with what you see here in memory of my precious St. Bernard.
I dont know how I got here. Obviously, I got sidetracked in a major way, but my sweet image reminds me of our 134# dog whom we affectionately called 'dufus'. When he wasnt being that, he was definitely being a destroyer of all things made by man & machinery.
Huge Thanks to:
1. Peggy-Sue for what she said is Anne Ryan ribbon, and
2. Russian Satellite sistah for the dog bone and paw print buttons.
3. Fruitcake for the shank remover!
4. the other half of the russian satellite team for the popups.
Fun challenge Stef!
TFL everyone!

This is so cute Anne. I am laughing though because of your inspiration compared to this - however, we all know your mind works just a little bit differently huh! It is part of your charm!

As Mutnik said, strange things going on with this photo. When I click on it, I am told it has been removed permanently. Only when I tabbed it, could I open it. Who knows?????? Maybe some Fruitcake or Debzi stuff going on here. This is cute as a button and quite a story as to how you arrived here with this card. Love that doggie and all the dots.

Ok, so I see the green from your inspiration piece....you are getting good!!!! I am so glad I was in a very small way responsible for this adorable card. Thank you from one of the RSS sisters!!!
We had a St. Bernard named Brandy and you are so right about their power of destruction!!! I was doing dishes looking out my window when I saw the largest tree we had in the back yard fall over. Brandy was so proud!!! He used to chew around the base of our trees until they fell over. No trees survived Brandy!!!
Thanks for the memories.. This card is soooooo cute and colorful. Love it!!!
hugs NC sister,

What a fun card. I can see the inspiration - there is green and the flourish could be the tail - yep, makes sense! I cannot imagine a dog that weighs 134# - holy cow - that's a person sized fur baby.

I love your wonderful card- I can look at the inspiration piece and see how you got here...with help from your story. My husband all too often comments about cards that take hours- often my favorite as well. Your card is delightful and such a cute memory of your dog, Dufas. TFS and for bringing a smile to my face today!
