This card was made for my friend Robyn to give her husband Syed for their 20th Wedding Anniversary. Unfortunately it didn't quite turn out how I expected but Robyn was happy with it! The inspiration came from a beautiful card made by stampersandee. Sandee's original card was a more feminine version made from a Midnight Madness Sketch and I have attempted to make a Masculine version of the layout. The cardstock used was SU Going Gray and Navy and the Pattern Paper is Basic Grey Boxer/Buckle. Both layers of PP has been embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. I should has used a larger mat for the four square mats or used the red cardstock to highlight them more. This is why I added the red corners at the end to give the card a little more lift. The image is Emerson "Your Wife" by American Art Stamps and on the inside I has used the SU Congrats Set to say "Congratulations on another year of Happy Togetherness". What I loved most about Sandee's card was the half-bow, I think it is a fabulous idea for Masculine cards instead of the standard knot! Thanks for looking and be sure to take a peek at Sandee's beautiful card.
