Made for Mothermark's Tea Party #61, "Clue-Less at Tudor Mansion".
I suspect:
Col. MUSTARD, with the KNIFE, in the KITCHEN!
STORY: Mr. Boddy had planned a wonderful party for his friends, Col. Mustard, Prof. Plum, Miss Scarlet, Mrs. Peacock and Mr. Green, featuring, among other activities, Billiards and Ballroom Dancing. Col. Mustard, being ever-so-punctual, arrived VERY early and VERY hungry, so he made his way from the Entry Hall into the Kitchen to find a "little snack". While snooping in the fridge, he came across the beautiful ham that was to be served later at the party. Further investigation provided a plate, a loaf of bread, MUSTARD and a KNIFE!
As he was building his sandwich, he was caught off guard by a piercing scream behind him--Mrs. White (Mr. Boddy's housekeeper) had discovered the CULPRIT in the act of committing the CRIME! She ran to report it to Mr. Boddy, but when she returned to the scene...she discovered that Col. Mustard's dog, Grey Poupon, had destroyed the evidence!
AFTERMATH: The crime was not murder, but petty theft, for which Col. Mustard served one month in jail (being offered only bread and water, with NO mustard), and "tampering with evidence", for which Grey Poupon served a similar sentence in the county kennel. And they all, including Mr. Boddy, lived happily ever after.
I've missed you ladies and the Tuesday Tea Parties! School has started, and I needed a little tea to calm the nerves after the last few weeks! ~k

Inspector Clouseau is suddenly dissappointed! He has been hot on the trail of the murderer! And now all he has to look forward to is locking up a couple of ham sandwich loving Mister-Meaners!! Snort!
So glad you could come! Hope things in your real world will slow down so you can have fun in our make believe world!

Funny card, how lovely is your background too. Good to have you at the teapot party again. Hope you can come again.
Well about your story, I won't deter from it but you could maybe try again because I'm not buying this innocent and sweet version of what happened here, there is to much at stake here. LOL
Love your card and good to have your input in the meanderings of our teapot parties!
