I have tried in vain (so far) to get the look of the Peace Rose, but this attempt works well with autumn colors.
I again used the brayered vellum technique (on the back side or debossed side), first with Regal Rose ink, followed by Ruby Red. Then, still working on the back side, I traced along the dented lines with a white Galaxy Marker. This prevents the color of the paper behind the vellum from showing through the lines. Finally, I shaded the edges of the petals with the Regal Rose and Ruby Red markers, blending with a blender pen.
I ran the colored image through my Xyron machine, attached it to a piece of YoYo Yellow cardstock and cut out the roses. They are layered over a piece of Basic Grey designer paper that I had run through my Big Kick using the Flourish SU! Texturz plate.
The gold dragonfly brad was colored with a dark brown alcohol marker. The scallops on the oval punch were accented with dots using a clear Glaze pen. Edges of the sentiment were sponged with Ruby Red ink.

Just stunning! What a great seasonal twist to these beautiful flowers I love the detail you put into your description, too - you've made it easy to follow everything! Nothing I hate as much as the description saying "for info go to my blog"! Thanks so much for sharing

BLAM! That was my jaw whacking the floor. This is a fabulous, fantastic floral card. Sounds like a lot of steps it probably goes pretty quick. The colors are stunning and I love the background being textured. I had never heard of the brayering on the back of vellum so thanks so much for the description of the technique and all the colors used. I have always been a big fan of your cards and this one is no exception.

Linda, your autumn roses are truly lovely! I'm always amazed at the attention to detail you give each and every project! The white added to the lines is something I wouldn't have thought of and the lightly embossed BG paper is just perfect for the roses! Wonderful card, as always!
