For this VSN challenge we were required to create a card using metallic embossing powder, easy enough right? Well, after trying a bunch of things and not liking how any of them turned out, I opted to make something similar to a card I made for a past challenge where we were required to use text on a card.
I heat embossed Stampin' Up!'s Gold Glory on their Brushed Gold Cardstock and pop up a gold embossed tree on Very Vanillan top of it. That was layered onto a crimped piece of Wild Wasabi paper and then Chocolate Chip paper, for I felt like it needed something a little darker to stand out from the kraft cardstock base. At the last minute #we only have 45 minutes to finish the VSN challenges# I added some gold Dew Drops with glue dots.
Not exactly what I planned to make in the beginning, but it turned out decently enough. What do you think?
Thank you for taking the time to look at my card.

very shiny! I do like the choc chip mat to make your gold stand out. It's nice to see soooo many people used this challenge to start on holiday cards-I however was NOT one of them!!! Thanks for playing

Way more than "decent"!! Love all of the gold accents, and your embossing looks perfect. What a great holiday card!!
