The colors were picked from the pictures: Rich Razzleberry, So Saffron, Durango Dust, Ruby Red
Those pictures were taken at Universal Studios' Islands of Adventure in Orlando last January. I wanted to make a very whimsical page to go with the pics, so I stamped a funky circle from Pick a Petal on my background, I used some Bright Delight rub-ons, I inked the edges of the background star with Craft So Saffron ink and I ruffled my ribbon and tacked it in place with buttons and brads. I also added some stitching along the edge of the star and made it look like the stitching was ripped by letting the end of the floss hanging out on the front of the page.
To make the title, I combined letters from the Bright Delight rub-ons (word Sassy - kept the three S) and the Jumbo Outline Alphabet, doodled the inside with a Ruby Red marker and then covered the whole thing with Crystal Effects. I added a Canvas Cuts (love those!) bracket and colored it with Perfect Plum pastel.
One of the picture was matted with white cardstock, with a widder border underneath to make it look like a Polaroid picture, and I used that border to write my journaling on. I am so psyched that we now have the In Color markers for that very reason! The date was added at the bottom of the picture with a date stamp from the office supplies store.
I found three rub-on stars in the Holiday Happening bundle (retired hostess set) and added them to the bottom of the page, so it's just like the original sketch!
