I created this for a Cornish Heritage Farms Summer Design challenge. Details are here: http://becreative.cornishheritagefarms.com/?p=808
There are such talented stampers entering and you know the beauty you've seen in the galleries with Thomas Kinkade stamps . . .here's my coloring level!
I decided to make this a California Golden Poppy instead of the traditional red. I used SU WWC first, then added the shimmer the petals have with twinkling H20s. Poppy centers are all filled with tiny black bumps (are you impressed with my botanical knowledge yet?) so I added those in with diamond black stickles.
The bird on the side is an Autumn Leaves stamp but it faced the wrong way, so I stamped it on acetate and flipped it so it would face center. Thanks for looking.
