This card was made for MotherÂ’s Day but I couldnÂ’t post it early as my Mother is also on SCS!
The flower was stamped in Bravo Burgundy on So Saffron CS, reversed masked and then over stamped with French Script and Itty Bitty Backgrounds. I coloured in the flower and the bee using an Aqua Painter by picking up ink from an acrylic block that I drawn on from SU markers. I then masked the flower to stamp the leaves and added a bit of sponging. For the background I stamped Sanded BG, Canvas BG and Itty Bitty Background. I then stamped on the Scallop Background, sponged the edges, stamp on some leaves, and added some yellow sponging. I then did the ‘sometimes too far’ step by drawing in some tendrils.
Thanks for looking! Let me know what you think.
