For my Christmas cards this month, I used a strip from the Mistletoe wheel with a strip of red behind it, so when I punch some small holes the red would show through. I started with a very small hole punch as shown on this card, but I ended up using a little bigger hole punch on all the rest. Also, I used a little bit of chalk on the berries that I did not punch out (too many) and a little bit of chalk on the stems & leaves for a bit of added depth. For the background, I used the Mistletoe wheel and my VersaMark ink pad. The striped paper is really a price tag! All the talented stampers at SCS have taught me to look at things different. What may look like an ordinary item to someone else may really be a creativity addition for stamping for us! A bit of ribbon and red embossing finishes it off.
