I decided to step outside my comfort zone and try a new technique. IÂ’ve had this glossy CS sitting around since I won it from Ritz Camera but, really wasnÂ’t sure how to use it. Then, I came across a technique on the net and decided to branch out and try it. ItÂ’s an embossed resist technique but, on glossy CS using a brayer. You stamp the image in Versamark ink and then heat set it. Then, you use your brayer over it for a resist effect. The Glossy CS is from Ranger. I used a combination of Rubber Stampede dye inks. In addition, the ribbon is from SU and the butterfly stamp is from Embossing Arts Co. The DP is from MM and the colored CS is DCWV. The flower is part of a bunch that I got at MichaelÂ’s yesterday on sale from Autumn Leaves. This was really fun! and I really love the end results. I think IÂ’m going to be giving this one to my mom for MotherÂ’s Day as she is very fond of butterflies.
