This is for my sister's bday. She's younger than me (4 years) and I still remember how much joy I felt the day she was born. The sentiment I used on the inside is "I made wish and you happened." She loved it, but everyone chuckled at the number of layers I used and how it puffed out the envelope to fit it all in! Oh well, the puffier the better I say!!!
I used the new hostess set I just got (yipee) and the few precious copics I own in a desperate attempt to use them in way that does the price justice. I really liked this sketch challenge! It's tough for me to go a-symmetrical though. The texture you see on the artichoke piece is from one of the new Texturz plates from SU... definitely better and more pronounced when spritzed with alcohol. The half circle at the bottom became part of the design when I smudged the image at the base of the flower *blush*! Hey, repeat after me, "There are no stamping mistakes... only stamping opportunities!"..yadda yadda.

This is gorgeous!!! I love the colors, the layout, everything. I never would have know the circle was a coverup..I love it! As a matter of fact, this baby's going into the faves until I have a chance to case it! Great job!

LOVE your card. The colors are so vibrant. I know your sister will love it. And, yes, your boo boo turned into a creative challenge that adds to the interest of the card! TFS!
