This is a tile coaster I made for my son at Christmas. He is pictured her with his girlfriend and I made a matching one for her. The photo was taken in El Paso, Texas when he was at Fort Bliss. This was the first time they had gotten to touch since he'd left for his AIT. I think this is one of my favorite photos of the two of them.

Your son is a very handsome and brave man!! God bless him for choosing his profession. And you're right...this picture is precious. I love this gift idea!! How did you get the picture transfered onto the tile? TFS

This is a fabulous picture! Love what you did with it. I'm sure they both loved their tiles.

I LOVE this! I too have a son in the Army (at Fort Hood right now being deployed in early April for Qatar). Is this an actual photograph that you put on the tile. You listed tissue paper...please explain how you made this. It the cutest gift ever! God Bless your son (and you)!
This is GREAT! What a wonderful touching picture.
Please tell me how you did this, this is exactly what I want to do. For my son's upcoming graduation. To give to special people in his life.
I'm sorry I was so excited that I didn't realize you had a link to get the instructions, I have just printed them out, And I can't wait to start on my tile's

how did I miss this beautiful tile? and what a great idea!!! Thanks so much for sharing it and most especially for the link with the tutorial...you are a gem! I have to confess that I have some great photos of my son with his girlfriend taken at a formal Army dance and since they just became engaged I thought it would be a lovely gift for each of them while they are apart as she finishes school. Thanks so very much for sharing, this is fantastic! Jan
